Ok folks,
This is my OWN personal opinion & is NOT meant to insult anyone or pass judgement. This is something that has been on my mind for quite some time.
I find this VERY annoying when someone posts a message or a picture of some kind, & they say things in the Title Field such as 'The Best Tickling Picture Ever' or 'This Will Make You Crazy'. Things like that.
Then when I see what was posted, I don't see what the big deal was.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I feel that whenever a picture or story, or whatever is posted, that the person posting should ONLY put the description of the specific content & that's all.
I know, I know. I'm being petty & picky.
It just bugs me a little when a statement like that is made & it's turns out to be not so.
I know it's the post-er's opinion, but making a statement like that bothers me.

LOL I guess when they put that as a title, they don't mean it's "best" for everyone. More accurately, they mean "I am so impressed by this I can hardly contain my excitement and wish to share this with everyone now! + I hope you feel the same! + If you don't its too bad at least I shared".

I do agree that it's more accurate to put the content description, but it just makes the title a tad more dull 😛

Well... I agree with Bart.
You can't get better than "best", and once everything is rated "the best", words become pointless.

Would make much more sense if users put proper markings, such as F/F, M/F, and so on, instead of subjective remarks.

Then again, many people are naturally drawn to flashy threads [and shiny objects]...
One of my most visited threads actually had no picture inside, just a catchy title.

That's why I often sneak my pics inside foreign discussions: it's much more funny when people *look* for them, as opposed as being hand-guided to the swag.

More annoying for me is request threads titled "I need....." or "I'm looking for......" Who actually clicks on those?

This is the BEST THREAD EVER!!!!!!!! THIS THREAD WILL MAKE YOU CRAZY!!!!!!!1111!!!11!!!!

On a more serious note, I completely agree with TicklerBart - calling a thread "The best" is like the kiss of death - nothing can live up to that sort of hyperbole. Descriptions of images or videos, along with applicable f/f, f/m, m/f, m/m, */mmmmmmmmmmm, etc;... is all you really need in a pic/clip thread title. Helps other people find it more easily later on, as well...
