It's our first birthday! And we're celebrating with a shed-load of cake! Bring a cake along, and sample other people's tasty treats. It's not obligatory to bring cake along, but sharing is caring!
Birmingham Boardgame Munch is a friendly munch, situated in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Everyone is invited to join us, regardless of age, orientation or kink, and we hope to make as many people as welcome as possible.
The munch is based in a great bar called Stirlings, which has a reputation of serving excellent food, cocktails, and all the usual drinks you'd expect from a good establishment.
The whole of the basement is set aside for the munch, which gives a lot of breathing space for munch-goers to chat, as well as play lots of boardgames. A huge stack of games will be provided, which anyone can pick up and play, as well as several decks of cards, quick 2-player games and other quirky entertainments.
While boardgames is the theme of the munch, no-one is obligated to play. Feel free to come along and chat, or just watch. At its heart, the munch is about munching first, and then an excuse to geek out on random gamey entertainment.
The event is from 7:30pm until kicking out time. Any questions, feel free to poke Vestra anytime through the usual channels, or at the event. He's the one with the handsome face.
