Speaking of Munchausen:

It's making me grin already! I have to specifically say that seeing him write again for a new release is a very exciting update. I am not biased. Having worked on his two very comprehensive long stories, he has this very "corporate" level of intelligence. He knows what to put up in a story, the details, the logic and yet he never run out of very funny and ridiculous scenarios to incorporate in the flow of plot. I don't know how he comes up with such approach, but I really had a good laugh reading him out. You should see the grin on my face.

So I just unpacked this issue and browsing... Seeing the flow and use of words and that one drawing trapped in mattress, I am getting excited and smiling already. You folks should really consider reading Munchausen's stories, seriously and tell me if I am just saying it in vain.

The Art:

Drawing crowds is a very challenging task. This issue had more of that, but the women are just sexy, voluptuous and playful. BZ Tickler does it the vintage and powerful way, reminds me of the strips in very in-demand printed publications or papers. For some reason it reminds me of "Archie." The illustrations look conventional yet they show modernity in compositing. The lines are worked with just the right line weight and good command of style. The details of the background make the compositions full and surprising as well as the expressions, curves and over-all impact.
