The Chamber

Okay I saw that stupid new show "The Chamber" tonight. I'm getting tired of these reality shows and lame game shows but this one gave me some ideas. For those who have not seen it, they put someone into this big steel contraption, seated with their wrists and ankles bound and apply some sort of intentionaly uncomfortable vibrations to their backs while exposing them to extreme heat or cold. The contestants try to last as long as they can in the chamber while answering questions. Now I'm sure anyone else in our community who saw this show was probably thinking the same thing... "heat?, cold? forget that...let's really make it torture...let's tickle the contestants!"

Who else had such thoughts cross their minds?

Naturally. I watched the whole show just on the off chance that they might get creative in a way we'd all enjoy. Sadly, not the case, at least not for the first episode. And it's doubtful they'd incorporate it in the future - regardless of people's perceptions of tickling as torture, it doesnt' seem to fit the "scary and life-threatening" image they want to present. Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I hate all these kind of shows.....however, I saw the commercial for it and the idea, um, occurred to me.

Yeah, I sat through it. The girl that kept getting shot with those water blasts gave me tons of ideas, escpecially since they came awfully close to her bared armpits. This would be such an easy show to do this in, but alas, I doubt it will ever happen.

Could make an interesting story, though...🙄

LOL I also watched that stupid Chamber show too, and I swear that I immediately thought about tickling.

So just let me know when one if you builds a tickle chamber and you want me to come test it out!

I too saw this show. Well, about 10 minutes of it. After they put the second contestant into the chamber, I turned the stupid thing off. In my opinion, this takes us one step closer to having shows like "The Running Man." Let's put these people in this thing and see how close we can get them to having a heart attack, just so they can win money.

Tickling would be an interesting idea, but you can't answer question too well when your laughing. Nobody would be able to understand what the contestant said.

Yeah this show is lame and to keep up with the unoriginal/copy the competition t.v. mentality another network has a similar show due in the near future called 'The Chair'. Contestants are put in a mean looking dentist chair and subjected to uncomfotable things. Tickling would be more suited to this show, alas it will probably never happen.

Dammit we've got to band together and make are game show with lots of tickling lots and lots of tickling.

Q I am 5' 9" and a half and tend to be a bit wild when I am being tickled. Make that chamber big and strong! 😛
