No, not the rock n' roll band(although they kick major butt!), but those enthusiasm-killing charley-horses and so forth that I'm sure my fellow lees can attest to having experienced on occassion. Any advice on avoiding `em? Some good tips that I know of are:
Keeping well hydrated
Stretching out prior to play
Potassium(from bananas,etc.)
Going with the flow i.e.-Don't fight your bonds. Try, difficult as it may be, to relax.

Can anyone think of any other helpful hints. I'm dying to play again sometime, but hate those muscle-spasms!

I know exactly what you mean. I had a really bad case of an ab cramp once when my doctor tried to examine my stomach.
"Does it hurt here?"
"No, but it tickles a bit."
"Here?"
"Ow ow ow ow ow!", as I roll onto my side and grab my belly.
Thanks for the tips, I'll see if they work when I get to play next.

If it happens on the thigh (thigh cramps happen to me in my sleep), then it's serious and it really hurts. If it happens to a toe, for example, then it's not too bad, as it can be kind of amusing at the ticklee's expense (it kind of happened in the Last Laugh Epsilon video). I can only say that breaks, no matter how much it disrupts the flow, are appropriate, as is a good massage to the area.
