The government is my shepherd
Therefore I need not work
It alloweth me to lie down on a good job.
It leadeth me in the path of still factories;
It destroyeth my initiative.
It leadeth me in the path of the parasite, For politics' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of laziness and deficit spending
I will fear no evil,
For the government is with me.
It prepareth an economic utopia for me
By appropriating the earnings of my grandchildren.
It fillith my head with false security.
My inefficiency runneth over.
Surely the government shall care for me all the days of my
life,
And I shall dwell in a fool's paradise forever.

Well at least I am out, making an honest effort to find a job. That's a hell of a lot more than alot of people do.

I could just as easily gone on welfare, and just sit down on my ass watching MTV all day. But I don't

Call it "honor". Call it "pride". Call it not just wanting to "coast thru life". Call it what you want.

As a matter of fact, I have 2 interviews today.

What I'm saying is u shouldnt be attacking the dems when its the republicans in power and ur out of a job. Now can you put 2 and 2 together?

I think it's funny how the Liberals love to blame Bush for the woes of the world, but the fact is that most of the crap that resulted in 9/11, happened on Clinton's watch.

But he was too busy getting a blow-job to notice.

When the first attack on WTC back in '93 happened. Clinton could
have done something. He chose not to.

When the US Embassy in Kenya was bombed, Clinton could have done
something. he chose not to.

When Al Queda was killing innocent civilians, Clinton could have done
something. But again he chose not to.

When Iraq was shooting scud missles at Israel, in '94, and again in '98 Clinton could have done something. But once again, he chose not to.

He was too busy getting sucked down by Monica Lewinski.

Every President leaves the White House with a legacy. Clinton's only
legacy was the "Oral Office" image and a stained dress.

Ice, Ice, Ice... (shakes head side to side while looking down at ground, and gives a large sigh).

The word is "democrats", NOT "democratEs".I just don't know what it is with your party ... You spell democrat/democratE, and Gore spells potato/potatoE.
I just don't know, about you guys. :jester: (Just jokin' dude!)

(Fortunately I'm fairly bullet-proof when it comes to politics. I think they're all crooks and a**holes. If they had better looks and higher morals they might have been hookers, but the truth is that none of them wanted to work that hard.) 😛

Let's not forget the 2 embassy bombings in 1998.

The USS cole.

He also could have had Bin Laden turned over to him by the Sudanese, but chose not to pursue it.

There is,and was, plenty of evidence of Iraqi involvement in the Murrah building bombing in Oklahoma City.Clinton and his administration decided the militias were to blame, and were proven to be wrong.

Many economic advisors have stated that whoever was elected in 2000 would face a recession, regardless of party or philosophy. Some investment advisors were warning of stock market troubles in 1996,saying the market was overpriced and businesses were operating with too much debt.

Bush has already gotten rid of one economic advisor,so he already has shown dissatisfaction with progress in battling recession. If one wants to blame Republicans for economic woes,go back to the Reagan administration. It was during his term that the US government was encouraging companies to move their operations out of the US,and has not stopped to this day.His administration also witnessed the biggest decline in our manufacturing base, without bothering to consider helping out. They weren't the first ones to allow foreign damage to our industries, but they were the last to be able to try,and refused.

We should also not forget NAFTA,which was passed by both parties.

GATT as well.

Clinton signed Nafta, which allowed US industries to move to Mexico, where they could get away with paying $5 a day.

I thought the Democrats were supposed to fight for the "common man", instead of ***** them to Big Business.

Whenever it is mentioned that the Democrats are the friends of the common man,or labor, these items come to mind:

They helped pass NAFTA.
They helped pass GATT.
They have supported MFN trade status to China..the largest organized slave labor market going.
In 1993,they failed to pass the Strikebreaker Bill, possibly the largest labor bill in years. They failed despite having a Democratic Senate,Congress, and President.
Tom Daschle has proposed granting green cards to illegals who can manage to avoid getting caught for 5 years. Not only is this a move that would help undermine wages,it is hardly the message that should be sent to anyone expected to obey laws.
These are the biggest points to ponder for me,but there are more for
anyone to think over.
