I've always loved this classic comedy show, it is part of the Golden Age of TV. They don't make them like this anymore.

This episode, entitled Give Me Your Walls aired in 1963 and features the wonderful character actor Vito Scotti as a charming and eccentric house painter.

I agree it stands as one of the greatest classic sitcoms. As I recall, it was unique, in that it aired in two different time slots. There was the "daytime" show, and the "night time show." Once it was syndicated, the only way I knew to tell them apart was whether or not Rob tripped over the ottoman during the opening sequence.

I always liked the scenes in which Buddy Sorrell (Maury Amsterdam) insulted Mel Cooley (Richard Deacon) usually about being bald. "Say Mel, you know from the top, you look like a walking egg!"
