I noticed some workers that were obviously born before computers or video games were invented; spend alot of time at the job even on their day off.
They tend to be between 50 and up.

Some are willing to work while others just hang around---even if its just reading a newspaper. I say "gamers" because I rarely ever hear gamers say..I came in because I was bored" Most of the time they are really into a game at home or doing something else.

I was wondering if this is a generation thing or just an individual thing.

I would think that the generations before computers were less socially awkward they are now. So perhaps it's just an individual thing.

I'm well into my 50's and have no problem at all being alone. Heck, most of the time I prefer it after dealing with people all day at work. I suspect it's an individual thing.

Being alone can be easier knowing you have friends in the cybercloud.
