Very insightful and straight up intelligence, but I think she has the wrong assumption about that crowd. I don't think our leaders are stupid, they are very intelligent and very good at crafting this world. Or maybe she does know. Maybe more of us should be doing this. Is anyone truly beyond change?

Preach little sista'!! She laid it out and did you see the looks on the audience's faces? Awesome and priceless there! Thank you young lady for bringing real perspective back to the table; unfortunately, those adults will probably go back to the business of screwing everything up as usual.

I am thrilled to see young people getting off the couch, away from the video games, and fight and speak out for what's really important. Her parents should be the proudest folks on earth for her.

This is Severn Suzuki, she made this speech in 1992 when she was 12 🙂 Now she is 31, married with a kid, an environmental activist and tv show host 🙂 And yeah, it's a great speech, but has much changed for the past 20 years...? I don't think so 🙂
