So my professor cancelled class so i had like a hour to chill so i decided to go get some Subways to get some lunch. I was waiting to pay for my food when an old asian guy that was in front of me started to argue with the cashier. Apparently, he ordered 2 6inch subs and the cashier charged him at a foot long price which costed 25 cents extra. "its the same thing!" The cashier said raising her voice. "No its not!" The man replied. The argument continued only for about 10 seconds when the cashier finally said "alright, you can have your quarter back". Haha, i really dont think a quarter is worth fighting for. Some of you might disagree, thats cool.
But yeahh, to some of you people that work as a cashier, not all of us Asians are like that, but just prepared just on case. We tend to haggle A LOT. My parents are from China. As a child, i would walk with my mom around Chinatown and she would always argue with the butcher for more meat and i would always be embarass and say "mom, lets go!" 🙁
Lol so do you guys ever experience or seen a funny haggling moment? 🙂
