The "I can't believe" Thread

I can't believe you didn't read my account of how I deal with such a situation, from another thread:
I seriously have dealt with this situtation before, situation being that the Dodgers are in 2nd place or 1st place, in a pennant race with team X, in 1st place or 2nd place, and team X happens to be playing the hated jints.

As of today, that is the situation, with team X as the SD Pondscum.

What I do is root for the Pondscum to lose, sorry about who will have to win to make that happen.

I recall a game in 1983, in the exact same situation, when team X was the Atlanta Braves. In a game against the hated jints in September, the Braves led by one run in the late innings. The jints had two men on base and two out. The game was televised on WTBS.

I said to the jint batter on the screen, "Hit a home run, you motherf***ing jint c***sucker."

He did, putting the Braves behind by two runs.

I said, "Thank you, you c***sucking jint motherf***er. Now that you've rounded the bases, drop dead."

That's how I do it. 😀

I can't believe NT hasn't faced similar situations when he had to root for the Cardinals to beat at team the Cubs were in a pennant race with. 😀

I can't believe that his team been in a position to root for the Cardinals to win a game for his team.The Cubs have choked away almost every pennant race they have been in for the last 97 years. What make you think that NT has to ever root for the Cards for anything.😛

I can't believe Mils was talking to you, and that certain individuals are always getting into business that doesn't concern them, or why certain people cannot pay attention to their OWN damn team and its problems. Oh well, such is life

I can't believe that you are so surprised. Beside you are always in my business with the Mets so I figured I would place my two cents in because I knew it would aggravate you. 😛
 
... that the Dodgers wasted a fine pitching performance and lost 2-1. 🙁
