because i got attacked by a giant sized german shepherd mix while walking in the park..and he was leashed..the owner was damn apologetic but damn..because i was wearing pants, it didn't break the skin..but it still stings..i was walking along..minding my own business..the park was super crowded cuz it's a warm day..the dog was peeing against a tree, when bam..he lunged at my leg..the owner immediately pulled the dog back...i'm still shaky as nothing like that has ever happened to me before

Once when I was riding my bike through rural country, someone's Doberman took off after me. I hit the brakes and stopped. That stopped the pooch dead in his tracks too (that approach probably might not work with more aggressive breeds of dogs). His master was there and he called the dog back, but I think I aged 5 years. This is part of the reason why I'm a cat person!

As for today, I could use a stiff drink because I spent all of what should have been a day for visiting friends in the goddamned emergency room instead, because I've been having trouble breathing. After wasting a whole day there, they tell me that my tests are all fine and I can go home, even though my chest still feels like it's been partly packed with Vaseline. A call to my brother later this evening revealed that there's this particularly stubborn virus that everyone's been getting in their chests, and he thinks that's what I've got. The McDoctor and McNurses in the ER somehow overlooked that particular possibility. If this is what modern medicine has degenerated into, then I say, the hell with it!

...I could use an irish car bomb personally.

Now, that is a truly fucked-up name for a drink.
