It's actually from a Broadway play, and a very good one at that. It's like Sesame Street, only so much better and funnier. This just seems to be the only song that everyone knows, for quite obvious reasons. XD

Avenie Q is the greatest thing to come on Broadway EVER. and I know nothing at all about Broadway, musicals, or theater. THATS how confident I am. ^^

Yes, this song is from the musical, Avenue Q, which is currently on Broadway (and I believe won the Tony award for best musical of 200....5?). It is tremendously popular on the internet and it's my opinion that this song and this WoW video in particular, due to it's wide circulation, is responsible for a huge chink of Avenue Q's success. =3

If you want a treat find, and download, or buy the whole soundtrack. if you're feeling really abmitious read a synopsis of the story and find bootleg videos on Youtube. Good stuff. ^^
