Besides the new video, I'm happy to announce that, 3 months after PayPal closed my account, I can finally start accepting credit card payments again! It's quite a relief, let me tell you. Of course, mail orders in the form of cash, money orders or checks are still perfectly acceptable too, if you prefer that method. I certainly don't mind it.

You can read more about my new credit card billing system on my website. Actually, what I did was open a couple of stores on Videos4sale.com, the Clips4sale.com sister site that's specialized in physical videos. I have a store for my tickling videos and one for my foot videos. The ordering process is very straightforward and doesn't even require one to open an account. Both stores can easily be accessed from my own website and are basically like extensions of it, sort of. Just click on the "Place an order" button at the top of my pages, follow the links and you'll get there without a problem.

Please note that my Videos4sale.com stores are really only useful for placing actual orders, as the text and sample content are rather limited. The usual detailed descriptions, the sample pics and the preview clips are still found in the catalog sections of my main site (that would be the "Tickling videos" and "Foot videos" sections).

Another thing I'd like to mention is that I had to modify my pricing system. From now on, the price of each video includes shipping to any destination. It's simpler that way. Just one thing, though: because of the way Videos4sale.com works, an extra fee of $9.95 is automatically added when an order comes from any country besides the United States and Canada (per order, not per video). I'd really rather not have that, and I'm told that it's possible I'll be able to disable it sometime in the future. But for now I'm afraid that the only way for a "foreign" customer to avoid the extra fee is to order by mail. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Oh, by the way, if you wish to order both tickling and foot videos by credit card at the same time, you have to visit both stores and places separate orders. But I'm very likely to be able to combine your orders into one package.

One last little change at The Last Laugh: I've stopped offering the CD-ROM format. I barely sold any at all since I started offering DVDs earlier this year. If you happen to prefer that format, I'm very sorry. It's just not worth the trouble for me anymore. I hope you understand.

Looks good. I like a lot of your videos but was wondering if you were planning on offering them in downloadable form anytime soon? Since you use Videos4sale already, it would seem easy to put them on clips4sale also, just need to convert all your stuff into avi. Anyway, keep up the good work and if you ever offer your videos for sale as a download, then you already have one customer.

Okay, now, here are some pictures of what pantyhose are SUPPOSED to look like. None of those baggy, ugly colored ones that so many models seem to wear in videos or pictures. Pantyhose that make a beautiful lady look like a beautiful lady, for God's sake!

I'm hoping to offer such clips in the relatively near future, though I do need to create the clips, which will represent a huge conversion job. I need to set up my new computer first, and I just can't seem to find the time to do so with all these damn exams I have to study. But I'll get there, I hope.

One thing, though: avi? While I agree the quality would be excellent, that's definitely not a clip format I'm considering. They would be too huge. I mean, I will recapture all of the footage as DVD avi, but then I'll convert them to something else.

I do barefoot tickling because that's what I like. I understand perfectly well that you and many other people prefer nylons, but it's just not my thing. This may seem hard to believe, but shooting these videos isn't that much fun. Not from a "fetishy" point of view. It's frustrating, stressful work. If I'm to work all alone, under pressure, using equipment and filming techniques that I barely understand and models that aren't always totally reliable, I'd rather shoot stuff that I personally like. Otherwise, why would I even bother?

As for being one of the "big power players", I can't say that I agree. I always saw myself as a minor producer, with videos that have some level of charm but not a very wide appeal, considering people's preferences tend to be in a more adult direction. I certainly don't feel like a major player when I take a look at my sales figures at the end of the month.

As a minor producer, a nylon tickling video would be rather risky gamble for me. I mean, it would be a somewhat specialized product, and The Last Laugh is too small to take a chance like that. Some of the bigger companies have a bit more slack for doing stuff like that. Besides, I'm still struggling to recover after being without a credit card billing system for three months.

Now, I'm not saying that I'll never do it, but I'd have to find an ideal model, one that has really ticklish feet, since the whole video would concentrate in that area, and that can be a challenge. Also, I'd have to hire her for two videos, as I can't just justify using a very foot ticklish model for a nylon video and not for a barefoot video. Shooting multiple videos with the same model(s)costs more money.

Another problem is that even if I shot a nylon video right now it would take over a year before I could release it, the reason being that I already have enough footage in reserve to last me until at least the end of 2005, possibly a few months more. Unless I decided to move up its release date compared to previously shot videos, of course.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not comfortable with such scenarios. I simply don't have the resources, skill or model talent to do something like that without the result being totally cheesy. Besides, there are other ways to add variety.

These do look pretty classy. Nice pictures. But as a barefoot fan I'm rather ambivalent about them. I'm only speaking for myself here, you understand, but to me the interest of nylons, or socks for that matter, is to use them as a kind of tease right before they're removed. The rare times I do use nylons in my videos, they end up being torn open rather quickly. Using expensive, high quality nylons wouldn't be a good idea. Besides, how many of the models have nylons like that in their wardrobe? I'd rather not having to buy a pair just for one video.

Sorry this isn't the reply you were hoping for, but like I said, it's just that nylon tickling isn't my thing. It's hard for me to get excited about going to all the trouble of finding the right model, shooting a video and producing it, only to do something that I don't like. I hope you understand.

If you're going to offer downloadable clips, I would choose a format like mp4 or .rm.

For mp4, the Quicktime wrapper is the best and most flexible of the containers. While you can package mp4 up in WMV files, I have found these to be annoying and sometimes problematic.

Real .rm files are ok - their codec has improved lately. I forget when the revision was, but they went from so/so videos to pretty good in one update.

Congrats François, tu sors toujours des videos incroyables! et par rapport a lastlaugh étant un "big" tu es peut-être une petite compagnie comparé a certains producteur mais je n'ai jamais vu que de très très bon commentaires pour tes vidéos, jamais de mauvais commentaires. Tes modèles sont très jolie, plus que certains se considérant comme des modèles professionnel (surtout isabelle de Alpha 🙂 )

I'm really not familiar with mp4, or with Quicktime for that matter. I mean, I know them, and I've used Quicktime, but I'm not as comfortable with those formats as I am with others. But I haven't yet made a decision about the clip format(s) I intend to use (yes, I do intend to offer downloadable clips eventually) so I'll keep those formats as potential options.

I did some tests with .rm, and I just can't create some that are of a reasonably level of quality without making them huge. I don't know why. But it does mean that it's probably not an option for now.

Je crois qu'il va de soi que ce n'est pas tout le monde qui aime ce que je fais, mais je suis très content que la grande majorité des commentaires que je reçois sur les forums ou par courriel sont effectivement positifs. C'est très mal encourageant.

Tout de même, ça me surprend toujours un peu, parce que je suis juste un petit amateur sans expérience en vidéographie (à part The Last Laugh) qui travaille avec des ressources très limitées et des modèles sans expérience. Mes modèles ont généralement une apparence agréable, mais pour être honnête je ne crois pas qu'elles peuvent se comparer aux modèles de certaines autres compagnies d'un point de vue purement physique (du moins, du point de vue de la plupart des gens, parce que personnellement j'aime mieux le genre de modèles avec qui je travaille). Mais il faut croire que le côté amateur et terre à terre des mes vidéos et le côté naturel de mes modèles ont un certain charme. Je suis content que plusieurs autres personnes partagent mon opinion.

En passant, moi aussi j'ai beaucoup apprécié Isabelle de Alpha. Son amie Marie aussi, d'ailleurs. Pratiquement parfaites comme modèles. J'aurais vraiment aimé pouvoir faire un autre vidéos avec elles. C'est bien dommage que ça s'est avéré être impossible.
