More Mayhem in Tabor County: the walls come tumbling down when Mercy Mew and Angela Allgoode frisk in black basements with darker demi-devils! To your stations, ladies... the game's afoot!

Glad you got a kick out of hedonistic ol' Sid, B! The bad guys are always most fun to write for... their faults and appetites, especially when they're comfortable with them, make for great dialogue hooks (I'm preaching to the choir here, I know... this is something you and Mistress Koki understand intimately!) Thanks so much for the copious praise; it's particularly appreciated from someone who understands and can wield the artwork/storytelling combo-punch so well!

Incidentally, don't fret about inspirations... Sid is strictly self-portraiture! Whenever I need a model for any sort of depravity, I consult the mirror XD!

Alone in the Dark... that's that Uwe Boll film, right? I have seen it, though it's been years back. Maybe I need a refresher... anyway, if there are similarities, I wouldn't be surprised. Inspiration springs from many sources!

Wow, "Sid". Amorphous blobs can have more character than I ever expected. Puts Jaba the Hut and Gadzooks to shame.

I don't recall seeing tickling quite as horrific as this before. Sid's twisty, wormy tendrils and his psychotic mix of threatening and lascivious attitudes filled me with a delicious sense of unease and dread. Sid's not disfunctionally insane, or unintelligent, just very twisted, almost reminiscent of the Hannibal Lecter character.

Wonderful, Leenotler! I love the Hannibal Lecter analogy! That's just the reaction I wanted to Sid: a conniving, ingratiating figure with a strong undercurrent of menace! His altered physical state is indeed supposed to appear entirely corrupted and wasted by sin, rather like Dorian Gray's portrait. Quite right, too, about him not being dysfunctional... he's far too confident and in-control, even when imprisoned (another Lecter hallmark). Maybe more so behind bars... he goes a bit wacky when released (of course, the scorching had much to do with that!) Thanks once again, Leenotler, for the thoughtful, incisive consideration and commentary! It's so worthwhile to try to tell an involved story when you're there to notice the subtleties!

It's a powerful symbol, simple and stalwart! And believe me, the Kalamos Seal of Approval is most valued! It ought to have a snappy title... "Special-K" is the best I can do on short notice, but that's way too breakfasty to be taken seriously. Maybe someone else out there has a better recommendation? ...

Very kind of you U.N.Owen! As to finding time, it helps to have absolutely no social life! Well, that's an exaggeration, but my contact with friends is limited to once a week (who, helpfully, have their own aims and special projects to attend to). At 50+ years old, I can feel the press of time and am anxious for some mark of mine to last, which is a good spur for constant activity. Plus, I really, really crave to tell stories! I'd likely be doing this very same thing alone, but with not nearly the rewards! Anyways, thanks so much for the encouragement! Makes it so much easier to start the next chapter!
