I was looking back today on some of the things I've posted . I've never really been the type of person to do much writing , thats until I came here . It's funny how many things/thoughts can happen in such a short time . Reading some of them I had forgotten all about. Some things I'd writen even being so recent were surprising to me . They brought back memories that made me smile and laugh . I don't want to forget the things I've shared with people but time seems to have a way of doing that ...............Do you look back on these memories in your posts .

While i can't say i've had this experience yet here seeing as how i'm still relatively new, i do know what you mean. I recently found a mysterious file on my computer that happened to contain 40 something e-mails and replies that i'd saved that were written nearly ten years ago and it brought back some nice memories, as well as alot of "why in the hell did i SAY that" 's. I think for some people, or me at least, writing a great tool of confidence and openess. I tend to be much less reluctant to write what i feel than to say these things outloud. But even still, it's funny how you can observe change in yourself in things like that.

Saeria......Looking back seems like it has alot to show us and helps us remember who we are and who has helped us get there .

For me, the TMF is full of stuff I've written that I'd just as soon forget.
The worst stuff was deleted the next morning B4 anyone saw it, I hope 😀

Writing is serious business.

Oh God, me too.
Then again, some of my (rare) harsher words, some the things that really got me in trouble, I'd never take back or apologize for, ever. All part of the journey I figure, the good, the bad and the ugly, yes?
XOXO

I definitely love to look back on my old posts and revive memories passed. The tattoo thread I had not read in years, and it was recently resufaced. That one I found myself rather embarassed about because I used to be such an uptight twit when I joined the forum 5 years ago...lol

But some I look back on frequently, and they always put a huge smile on my face. This one is my favorite....

Here's a tip for hiding your stupid posts - visit the silly forum and just post like crazy. Anyone searching your posts is likely to give up in frustration 😀
