Over the decades so many great songs have come from Disney films. Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins, 1964. The Bird Woman is Jane Darwell, (October 15 1897-August 13 1967,) who had roles in over 100 Hollywood films including Gone With the Wind (1939) My Darling Clementine (1946) and The Grapes of Wrath (1940) for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as Ma Joad. Mary Poppins was her last film appearance.

I believe this movie came out in 1971...so Buggy must have been....around 50-55 by that point? 😀 But I LOVE these songs and this movie!

I was 16 in 1971 Miss Smartypants. I hope we meet one day, I have a long memory. :evilha:

When You Wish Upon a Star, from the 1940 Disney classic Pinocchio featuring the voice of Cliff Edwards (June 14 1885-July 17 1971) as Jiminy Cricket. Edwards found fame and fortune in the 1920's and early 30's as Ukulele Ike but three failed marriages and an extravagant lifestyle left him bankrupt several times. He died a penniless alcoholic in a charity hospital.
