Blimey what a feast of top class TV comedy we are served up these days in Englands green and pleasant land!! and how good it is to see Swindons paper industry given a long overdue high profile. "you wont catch me coming all over a little queer!" David Brent, what a great guy or should i say "chilled out entertainer"? will the U.S. ever get to see it? I think not, far too un PC.

What about in the Thin Blue Line when Grimm is yelling at Fowler because if one of Fowler's officers cock up, Grimm will get into trouble. As the man himself puts it...........

I'm not a regular viewer of The Office, as I've never worked in an office, therefore the humour may not bite me (yet), but I checked it out this week and I had to cringe at David Brent's efforts to be funny. "Coming over a little queer"... funny but cringeworthy. Still, it's an excellent satire, and Ricky Gervais is great.

the office is hysterical. the best brit com in some time. ricky gervais is note perfect as the delusional boss who thinks he is cool and entertaining but is nothing more than a buffoon. the funniest thing on british tv since brasseye. On the same note of classic comedies, though it wrapped up a few years ago, the larry sanders show remains in my eyes one of the most brilliantly crafted, acted and scripted satires ever broadcast.

Y'all get away wit' racier stuff on TV than we do, here. Here, we'll show someone in slow motion gettin' shot in the head, and crime scene shots on the news that'll turn your stomach, but even only slightly raunchy humor blanches many, here.

I always wish your stuff appeared on cable here. Gotta get a satellite to get it all. *sigh* I don't have a satellite...

Hey come on guys we had to be good at something dont you think? and at the moment its TV comedy.

I aggree with Tyler about Larry Sanders, that was a great show in my view, very hard hitting and original.

Y'all in the UK are good at comedy, no question, and your literary contributions always rock. Even in the popular category - horror, sci-fi, childrens, fantasy, even comic books.

Then there's the musical contributions. Pop alone is huge.

Actors abound.

'Sides, it's beautiful there. Always wish I could get rich doin' somethin' I enjoy, somethin' that I could do from home, and buy a big place somewhere in the middle of London and live there. I so enjoyed it there. Good folks there, too. I've several friends from this interest that I've visited, and that have visited me, from there.

AMK, I have digital cable, here in Canada, but haven't found anything more than Canadian TV added to it. I want BBC tv. All three channels. 😉

Weird, but true.

At least then I'd've been able to see Neverwhere when it made it to a screenplay. Would love to see how that made it to screen.
