I remember 16 of the list, especially my mom fighting the metal ice trays with levers.

I remember 6 of them.
And two of them - I don't remember if I have seen or if I just remember hearing about. the Hi-Fi and the thing about the reel film before movie.

So let us say 5.
Don't they still have party lines?

Oh, brother!

I remember the candy cigarettes because I remember my parents buying them for us (me and my brothers) at some store I don't remember. We mainly wanted them because our dad smokes.

As for everything else, it was before my time. 😛 :bouncybou

My poor child, you have no idea how much fun you missed out on....I am really suprised they still had candy cigs when you were a child,i thought those were gone by the late 60's or early 70's.

i guess some places still sold them, like small convenience stores. i just remember wanting them because of my dad. i'd pretend to smoke them, take a small bite, and continue to 'smoke' them until it was gone. 😀

i don't about missing that much fun. 😛 though some things would have been cool to see and use, and whatnot like a jukebox.

okay would it count to remember .45 RPM records if a parent owns them still? 😀 my mom still owns a couple and a record player. now i remember to listening to some of them. i thought that was cool, just a bigger version of a CD. 😛

i believe there was a drive-in in a town north of me. i don't know if it's still there or not. but i remember my cousins talking about going to it. that was maybe ten years ago.

oh, and one more, when i was about 8 or so, our Lincoln's signals stopped working (either the lights burned out or something else, don't remember what) and my dad had to use the hand signals. 😀
