It is my beleef that the government wishes to oppose marijuana because its not a finaicnial sound thing to do with the govnerment. Governments try to confiscate marijuana because the y rae not making money off of it so they prevent its use by us and especially keep people from selling it. I agree that its a bad thing specially when kids are involved but us grown up people are adults and should be ableo to choose for ourself what we cann and cannot use. Also majiruana is not as dangerus as one may think it is and stories are all exageratd to make us believe it is bad especially the christian right wingists.
Though people like to say that drug use causes bad things to happen and also death, it is shown in studies that death happens in other things not port related. And researchers have also looked into the effects of pot and relized how harmless it actually is and everybody who uses it only gets a bad trip once a while, but other than that those using bot dont actually drive like in the commercials says they do because they are too busy enjoy the pot and it’s buzz. The thing is, pot is something that makes people too layz to even start a car much less drive one so what was the point of making a commercial where potusers are using pot while in a car? Thats pretty stupid if you ask me and nobody would do int in front of people who could get them in trouble thats just asking to be caught.
The government dislikes the pot because they are not selling it or managing its financial exchange betwen others, it’s like las vegas without government intervention but i think Laws Vegas too is not actually government associated it is just by the mafia or something I dont know. But pot is not government regulated so they see that is a threat to the econmoy and that is why we are taking a plunge i n the stock market because the government cannot see the moneys changing hands with drug dealers and the like.
They dont want to associat it with govenrment saling eithe because threat of reputation to the govenrmetn as some people especially the right wingers or whatever bird they are cannot fly with that policy and it looks bad on paper and on the news. The governmetn cant get away with pot and be liked by the republicans !!! As with the past religous play a big role in government which it hsouldnot because spearation of church and politics but nobody ever enforce that because it is hard to enofrce like it is hard to prove God exists but god does not exist sometimes because otherwise he would make things easier and pot would not be viewed as harmful and he would make it not viewed as so, god should be that all powerful but that is not seen and thus he is not around thus proving my point that god is not here and the right wingers are nuts. Medical benefits come from being use of pot which nobody understands yet because thye do not suffer the kind f pain that cancer patients go through . The way I see it if I get cancer I would definitely want to get some because the pain would otherwise be unbarable and would you want to go thru that yuorself? I think not. IWthout pot some song musicians and artits would not have been able to make what they made without the experiences of pot. They saw many visions wich a normal personj cannot see, it is almost like a comic book transendentalesm in a way; they grew imaginary powers in their own world and trnaslated it from their language to our own. I bet that is how klingon language got inevented and so now we have trekkies learning a new language that did not get invented by a past culture but a present coulture. In conclushin pot should be legaliezed because of its many benefits.
