The patented paperclip arragement

Hello folks,
ever heard of this design? The candidate is fixed by a thin thread and a paperclip or something similar. She is then instructed not to drop the clip, otherwise something really fatiguing would happen. The punishment for dropping the clip should be specified depending on the canditate's known weak points. In addition to the clip, security chains will be necessary.
Can be adapted from nice to really nasty.
