George Lucas definitely turned to the dark side. It started with the ewoks, it should have been wookies! ARRGGG! Think Lucas, think! By the time he reappeared, he was fully cloaked in the dark side. Luke was kind of whiney at times too, but at least he went in swinging. Anakin was just dancing around. After I saw Phantom Menace, I thought these movies were going to rock. I hated Jar Jar, but I hated C3PO too, and the first one had rockin' saber fights. It just lacked gritty spacer characters. Then I saw the second one. What?! Stop dancing... Stop Dancing! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Know what annoys me most about George Lucas? Despite the pointless changes to the original trilogy, despite all the flaws in the prequels, despite all the overuse of CGI, despite him seemingly doing all of this JUST to annoy the fans....I'm STILL going to go see the series in 3D next year. Even the Phantom Menace.

God help me.

What I hate isn't George Lucas.......it's all the enabling "fans" who will literally buy anything the guy puts out.

He could take a crap and write "Star Wars" with a crayon on it, and people would be throwing money at him.

He could literally take a brick. A fucking brick, and pencil in Star Wars, and I assure you, he'd sell thousands.

As the guys at CHUD.com said after the Blu-Ray made, like, $80 million at release - George Lucas doesn't visit the Tickling forum. He doesn't read your blogs, look at your facebook, watch youtube video rants, talk to fans.......he could care less. He re-re-re-re-re-releases Star Wars, and makes more money from doing basically NOTHING, more money than many original movie makers out there making new stuff, and fans eat it up.

He's re-re-re-re-re-re-releaseing Star Wars in the theaters......in CRAPPY 3D!!! and again, dumbasses will shell out $10 to $20 a ticket, multiple times, to watch the same fucking movie they've already seen a hundred times.

If you have "fans" this absolutely STUPID.......fuck it, WHY NOT?!!!!!

Hey, look at all the remastered reissues and boxed sets bands like The Beatles have been putting out lo these many years. Not that the Fab Four and George Lucas have anything in common.

ive kept quiet long enough. i've been a loyal star wars fan all my life. after all, the first movie i ever saw in a theater was the original star wars. i was 4 years old. but dammit george lucas dropped the ball. why screw around with the legendary cantina scene at all? if hed stop fixing what aint broke wed be alot better off. and the prequels...god dont get me started. i waited 30 years to see the story of darth vader and what did that waiting get me? jar jar binks, enough said about him. darth maul, a bad assed killer who unfortunetly can be killed simply by jumping over him to pave the way for count dooku, mauls geriatric replacement which scored a negative 5 on the excitment meter, which led the way to darth vaders seduction to the dark side which basically boiled down to "oh, your a sith lord?" "yes i am, join me." "ok." sigh. to much focus on special effects and not enough on story. i'll keep my good memories of the original trilogy thank you very much, but nowadays i get my star wars fix from the novels. theres some excellent stories out there that should be made into movies. heir to the empire for example. if nothing else theyd make fantastic animated movies. always assuming george doesnt screw those up to. but they wont be made into movies. know why? because the fans want it.
