In the beginning was the Plan....
And then the assumptions.

And the Plan was without form, and the assumptions were void.
And darkness was upon the faces of the implementers.

And they spake unto their supervisor, saying, It is a crock of shit and it stinketh.

And the supervisor went unto the manager, and he spake unto him saying
It is a crock of excrement and none may abide the odor thereof.

And the manager went unto the Vice President and spake unto him saying
It is a container of excrement, and it is very strong, such that none may abide before it.

And the Vice President went unto the President and he spake unto him saying
It is a vessel of fertilizer and none may abide its strength.

And the President went unto the Coporate VP and spake unto him saying
It contains that which aids plant growth, and it is very strong.

And the Coporate VP went unto the Coporate President and spake unto him saying
It promoteth growth, and it is very powerfull.

And the Coporate President went unto the Board of Directors and spake unto them saying
This powerfull new plan will promote the growth of the company.

And the Board looked upon the plan, and saw that it was good....

Brilliant, and reminds me of my job, which just laid off almost 100 workers, outsourced everything to Jamaica and India....quality control has gone way down, we got an 11 cent raise and I'm working 14 hour days trying to keep the ship afloat (don't ask me why) (this is why i'm on the TMF all day long usually!). Customers are complaining and they're crowing in company emails how well the company is doing.
