is there anyhting more vital to winning a football game. I'll die telling people to run the ball, to set up the play action pass. I used to be a run the ball second type of guy, but thatnks to John Madden i have realized the importance of an effective running game. Just look at the two teams in the superbowl, you've got the leagues leading rusher, and the team that has been running the ball for the past 14 years.

PA only works if you have an established running threat and your not playing a defensive line of mindless chimps and cornerbacks who are aware. Linebackers pick up very quick on play actions.

Bears shoulda been in the superbowl if for some god damn reason not running the ball in that playoff game.

But yeah, defense wins your football games, not play actions.

oh trust me they will be next year. I think that Rex Grossman is the last best hope for the Spurrier era of QB's from Florida, and i think that he will be the plumb of the entire crop. I'm interested to see how Cedric benson is going to take that running game to the next level. I love the fact that Rex naturally goes down the field and that kid berrian is pretty darn good.
