This is post number 1,000 for me, so I will get the Red Feather.
For months (in late 2001) I just lurked here, mostly reading the Post Stories forum, and some of the other forums.
I registered in January 2002, and posted my first story, "The Sorority."

Today, I sorted the Post Stories forum by "number of views", and I have these observations:
There is one thread, Biscuit's monster, which is stuck at 65,535 recorded views-the counter will go no higher than that.
There is one other thread, "Tickling My Teacher," with over 10,000 views.
No threads have 9,000 to 9,999 views.
There is one thread with 8,000 to 8,999 views: My first non-fiction story, "The Session (F/m)" with 8,116.
There is 1 thread with 7,000 to 7,999 views.
There are no threads with 6,000 to 6,999 views.
There are 7 threads with 5,000 to 5,999 views, inclding my personal favorite among my fiction stories, "Sisters (F/m)" with 5,316.
There are 16 threads with 4,000 to 4,999 views, including my non-fiction story "Double Trouble (F/f, F/m, FF/m)" with 4,016.

Having also had some stories that sank like stones, with no responses and only a few hundred views, I am happy to see those three being read a lot. And even happier that "Double Trouble" is a Golden Feather nominee for best non-fiction story of 2002. 😀
