1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?

I went on a road trip through Wyoming, and overseas to UK, canvassed for the Obama campaign, and took part in political protests.

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't remember what my resolution was, so I guess it's safe to assume I didn't keep it! And yes, I'll make one for next year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

My friend Vikki had her first son.

Yes, I lost my dear friend Jackie. I miss her.

11/15/08 - I took part in the "Join The Impact" protests, against "Prop 8" which bans gay marriage.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

The "Join The Impact" protests. Almost at age 40, it was a first.

not reaching my weight loss goal

tickets to all the trips that I took this year.

On my actual birthday, nothing. The week before, I celebrated with friends at a cabin in Virginia. I turned 39.

re-took a class that I'd failed...enjoyed it WAAAY more the second time around. Teacher wasn't an arse 😀

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Themed photo shoots that I then put in my gallery. That was a new one.

I didn't have any to keep, and I doubt I'll make any for '09, either.

November 22; the date I decided to go back to school.

Accepting the things that were driving me fucking nuts, and a lot less care given to walking on eggshells.

Don't take anything that happens in life too seriously. The more you do, the more you'll notice how bad things are.

Traveled over 30,000 miles... and I don't ever want to do it again.

I didn't make any, so they were really hard to keep, I'd guess.

Thankfully, not this year...

December 1st... it was about a last promotion.

I have a new place to live!

yes, i got 3 new 2nd cousins 2 of them identical twins (2nd cousins are your cousin's kids btw.)

ya, my Great Uncle (grandmother's brother) who was a Jesuit Priest for over 50 years died suddenly from a condition that he hid from us for years. he was the glus that held the family together and brought us together en masse whenever he'd fly in from his Parish in Miami. boy, the man had so many awesome stories to tell.

my girlfriend in my arms.
