The Ruthless: Issue Three is available for just $12.95 only at www.the-agencies.com
Stacia is back in black!! (and tentacles)
Our favorite redheaded reported turned psycho villain is back for another amazing adventure in our popular comic series The Ruthless. Back with Stacia is her shrink Doctor Collins. The two have made an unlikely pair since the events of Issue #2, and have decided to build the ultimate tickle torture device.
But they can't do it alone. So they enlist the help of two engineers and a medical professional who are less than willing to help the area's most notorious villain wreak more havoc on their town. So how do the diabolic duo get their captives to help them? Through calm discourse and a cup of Earl Gray Tea? Hmm, perhaps that's another comic series...
Like the first two issues before it, this one was written by Oblesklk. I had a good amount of input from Dave2112 throughout the production of this book. Basically in that first version I smashed together issue #3 and #4 into one script. So the events that take place in this issue were originally just 3 pages in the original script until I decided to break them out into their own story. It was a rather drastic change to the script, but I went through a series of discussions with Dave on the matter and he was on board with my changes, so that was a great sign.
And throughout those discussions, he sent me a design piece of an S&M machine he built for his Sara & friends work years ago. My reaction was basically "Oh my God, we have to fucking use that" and it sees two separate uses in Issue #3. Although I would never recommend using such a thing in real life, in a fantasy genre it is beyond perfect.
Let's get down to business.
The Ruthless: Issue Three costs $12.95. What do you get?
14 fully and beautifully colored pages. This is top of the line artwork produced by some of the best art studios in the world. I am picky as hell when it comes to who I want to work with on these books (as the several dozen owners of submitted portfolios in this latest recruitment wave can attest to), but that means you get the best of the best for artwork.
Colorized cover and pinup. Both will eventually show up in this thread, but you get a higher resolution version with the purchase of the book. These are two pieces that both show distressed tickling situations. The cover shows a lovely "I'll tickle you until you pee" bit while the pinup shows Stacia getting medieval on a mother/daughter pair of redheads whom she felt threatened by. That happens a lot with her 🙂
40+ page novella covering some back story of The Ruthless characters. Best thing about this story? It's totally optional. NO need to read it if you just want to enjoy the comic. For those interested in the lore of the universe, this one is a beast. It's a 40+ page story clocking just under 16k words. What can I say, once I started writing I just couldn't stop. The story focuses primarily on Stacia, shifting back and forth between her current situation and her past while in college. In her past, she starts to slip into temptation and darkness when her best friend's little sister reminds her of her own innocence lost at too young of an age. It also goes into the bizarre relationship between Stacia and her shrink Doctor Collins, and some hints of side plots that will be further explored and explained as the series continues.
Thanks to all that have ordered this book. Between family visits and a bizarre 24 hour flu that knocked the unholy crap out of our family, I was a little slow on this post (the book went on sale on the site last Friday). It has generated a lot of interest, and I sincerely want to thank you guys for keeping the series alive! The more sales we get, the more we'll try to drive down the costs of our products. We set forth an initiative earlier in the year to reduce all costs of our non-marquee books to just $9.95 each. With the pending release of Tickle Magnet #2 coming up, we're going to hold to that pricing structure to drive as much value to you as we can. You all have, and will continue to have, a profound and positive effect on these comics. So again, and sincerely, thank you.
