(Since I first posted this story, I have made so many revisions that it differs significantly from the original, which was written this past weekend going over 24 hours straight. Thus, I have reposted it under the title "The Show, revised" so that those who have seen it in its first form will know it has been revised, and elminated its first posting here to save TT a little space.)
