I've come to the conclusion that everybody has funny little things they like to do, no matter how insignificant they might be. This thread is dedicated to sharing those little things and seeing how many people have them. I'll give you an example:
My Silly Pleasures:
- Popping bubble wrap
- playing pinball games and old arcade games
- the smell of gasoline at the station
- Flipping through poster racks at music stores
- looking at thumbnail pictures on porn video boxes
- staring at floors to look for hidden patterns
- imagining weird pairings of actors (like Cher with Jack Benny)
- thinking of actors who have never said "fuck" onscreen
- wondering how much urine there would be if everybody in the state took a piss at the same time
- Wondering how long abandoned places have been abandoned
- Long warm showers
- Root beer that comes in bottles
- sorting things I want to do in lists
- Going to second-hand bookstores to find old movie novelizations
- Fantasy shopping at Barnes & Noble
- Taking a nap in sunlight through a window
- spraying air freshener in rooms that need it
- looking at ceramic villages during holiday seasons
- looking at haunted house drawings on Halloween merchandise
- Eating while watching people eat on TV.
Strange as it sounds, I can't think of anymore at the moment. But until I think of others, I'll let you share yours. Enjoy.
- Wandering around empty buildings or large rooms
