I thought I might sleep right through it, but it turns out I awakened in time early this morning to see the "Supermoon's " descent out of the western sky. It is a beautiful sight, and they were right, it does look "bigger" than other full moons.
I may have seen it before, but it would have been a long, long time, as for thirteen years I lived in a two story building when I lived in Lancaster, and really couldn't get a good view of the moon unless I was walking outside. . I'm 21 floors up now, so it's much easier to get a view if I'm in my apartment.
Did anyone else happen to see it last night/early this morning?
