Is being ticklish hereditary? Based on what I know, I'd have to say yes! Everyone in my family is ticklish, and I've known ticklish girls, who've had equally ticklish sisters. Likewise, I grew up with this one girl across the street, and neither her, nor her older sister were very ticklish at all. I mean we inherit & share things like facial features, eye and hair color, eyesight, and other physical traits. Why not ticklishness?

I have children, and I've been around lots of other families with children. I've never seen a little kid who wasn't ticklish. It's a physical response, so it's obviously governed by genes in some manner, but it's so widely distributed that your question isn't very meaningful.

Neither was your answer. You obviously didn't read the question carefully. While I did mention a girl I grew up with, the question was not about age, or children. It was about heredity. My point was that ticklishness, like allergies, freckles, or good/bad eyesight is something we inherit, and has little to do with age. In the future, if you think a question is "not very meaningful", I suggest you don't respond!
