Ignorance is bliss until reality hits you in the face with a cream pie filled with sulfuric acid. This nation's troubles are just beginning and the plight of the vets is just one of many problems facing us Americans (and despite being just one problem it is a BIG ONE). I think our world is heading to some really REALLY bad times. People may not have a choice in trying to care for others anymore in the future of our planet. They may be forced to care because no matter how hard they might try and look away or ignore the problem it's everywhere they turn their eyes and they can't escape it.
