Title speaks for itself. What color tickling looks like?

And why?

I’ll go first.

Tickling is PURPLE because it gets both your body (red) and your mind (blue).

Cool question. I can tell you what personalities numbers have, but I don't know what color tickling is.

Hmm. Good question.

I would say light red, but I can't really give you a solid answer for why.

I’m in the purple boat. It’s hot, red; it’s calming, blue; and it makes me feel on cloud 9; purple. Plus purple is my favorite color lol

To tickle is Orange
Tickled is Bright Purple
Tickling is Pink and Light Blue
and Ticklish is Pastel Purple (combination of pink and light blue)

I would say pink mainly cause I think it's the perfect color for a female ler lol

Pink because I love the expression "tickled pink" especially when applied to bare soles. :feets:
TICKLED PINK TICKLED PINK TICKLED PINK

It is bright Neon White. Intense, powerful, emotional and blissful.

The order of thoughts went "obviously yellow and I don't know why", then immediately "oh right."

Note: I don't have classical grapheme or lexical synesthesia, but I am either a non-classical synesthete or my brain works in some other inconsistent way where sensory cross-activation still occurs. I get bleed over from different senses under certain circumstances, including auditory-color, touch-color, temperature-color, etc. Color is involved in most of them, but sometimes other senses apply like touch-auditory experiences. It's not clear exactly why these happen, especially since there is some inconsistency between them sometimes, but I thought I'd throw in this info as context.
  • Tickle, the word is a rich yellow to me. The word tickling is closer to a bright orange.
  • The subject or concept of tickling (not the word) is purple.
  • The sensations and emotions when being tickled are not a single color experience, but more like a symphony of colors that kind of feel like temperature-like colors, if that makes sense. I haven't mapped these out or anything, but like blues being low or no tickling, and reds being more intense sensations, as examples. Sometimes at high intensities, I get various auditory things going on as well.
  • In the act of tickling someone else, the sounds of their laughter often has that same symphony of color effect, but sometimes that mixes with colors I sometimes get from my mood or emotions in the moment.
I don't know if that makes any sense. I usually don't talk about it because I don't really have a clear understanding or even the language to fully describe what I'm experiencing. But I figure if it's going to relate to any forum post, this is the one!

Anyway, great question and interesting answers 🙂

It makes a lot of sense to me. Sensory overlap happens with me too. Things have color, smell, emotions, temperature, etc that most don’t experience. I think mine overlaps fairly closely with yours. Words, actions, intent, and expressions are different
