The "What Video Game Girl You Want To See Tickled" Game (Poll 1)

Ok, its very clear after looking at the last round that there are three clear choices where there were a total of three votes for each of those characters.

So it is those three characters which have made it to the voting process.

They are:

Sonya from Mortal Kombat

Taki from Soul Calibur

Paine from Final Fantasy

I was going to include "other" as a voting option as there were other characters voted for but they did not recieve more than one vote and I'd rather not make this more complicated and prolong the picture and go through this process again if "other" should win and then have to hold another poll just for that.

Fortunately these three characters stood out and were supported equally by those that nominated them. You only get one vote, so choose the character you most want to see tickled.

In the case of a draw, tie, etc. my vote will be the tie-breaking vote.

Taki for me. Heh, it's funny... I picture Paine from FFX-2 as a ler more than a lee. Ahh... that hidden scene in the hot springs was great. Probobly the only tickle scene I've ever seen in a game (or at least I like to think it was one -- it left a lot to the imagination ^^).

The poll closes now and theres a clear winner- Taki

Taki wins with 14 votes, followed close by Sonya with 11, and poor Paine only got 3.

As for when I'll draw this, I'm currently busy with some other pictures right now, but I'll handle this soon.

In the meantime, if someone would be kind enough to give me links to pictures I can use for reference material, I'd apprciate. I'd appriciate it even more if you could simply upload the pictures here. I'd be even more appriciative if you did not upload CG but rather art, preferably official (as inexperienced fans often leave out essential details or don't draw them correctly).

All of this makes the process go by faster and insures a better picture. I have played the game and remember what she looks like vaguely, but I'd rather have the reference material and I'm too busy to get it myself right now.

I sort of get that impression as well, if only because she seems stoic. But appearances are often decieving in games and anime. And its actually characters like her that also make great ticklees, because its either rare to see them in such a vulnerable, cute situation, or actually seeing them laughing, pleading, or being defiant and trying not to laugh, etc., makes them even cuter and more desirable to draw and see.

Its probably the reason Chun-Li won the last round and I ended up drawing her. People like to see tough girls in delicate situations where their strength of body and/or mind is of little use to them and they are made vulnerable. It enhances their appeal as we see a different, rare side of them, whether forced or consensual. ^^

Paine has an interesting character design, and I like the regal and majestic aura she gives out by the nuances of her face and costume, even though they themselves give out a different impression at first and contrast. She seems like one of those complex characters with a fractured personality in that she's probably a bad girl on the outside but is perhaps the most niave of the three (Yuna, Rikku and herself) when it comes to romance. I like that characteristic.

Although I could be wrong, I'm only basing this off of the impression I get from her through the pictures. But if such a character whom I know nothing about is appealing nonetheless, theres no reason not to draw her, tickling involved or not.

It would seem people can't get enough of the classic characters however. The deck is already unintentionally stacked against most nominated characters when theres a classic character in the running.

But see, thats where you all have the chance to make that not matter at all. If enough people put their support behind the obscured characters they'll be drawn. This game is completely random but predictable once certain characters are nominated. But again, you all have complete control over whether or not that even matters.

When I nominated Taki, I was thinking Talim. This really sucks for me, lol. Well, Ima go bash my head into the wall for a bit - be back when either one of three things happens: neighbors complain to police that most likely ends in a raid, I get distracted by some random thing (my own thoughts included), or I die of blood loss and go through the entire rebirth process and all that crazy jazz. Probably the second, but yea.

Well, to learn more about Paine, I highly recommend playing FFX-2 for Playstation 2. Despite what a few critics have said, it is a fun game, and deviates a lot from the standard Final Fantasy that many fans and long-time players expect - myself included (been playing the FF series since the NES days). It's also a game where you find the bulk of the storyline in side missions. It's also funny in that the main story line can lead you so far astray from the true story if you do not do the side missions. Anywho, back to Paine.

You pretty much hit her concept right on the nose, Vlad. She has the tough, resolute and unconquerable will exterior, which hides the true emotionally torn and haunted interior. She has seen too much and yet erects a barrier of assurance and confidence that inspires others as well. I can't go into much detail without giving spoilers that would ruin the game for others. You do learn about her tragic past in the side missions though, and as I played it I realized how superb a job the writers did on this game. FF II, III, VII, X and X-2 have some of the best stories of the FF series. My top 3 would be FFII, FFX and FFVII.

@ Gallicus- I was going to buy the game but I didn't. It just lost my interest all of a sudden when it came out.

Yeah, I figured I was right. Her type tend to fall into a particular psychological profile. Thanks for the info.
