Interesting about this scene: it was written AND directed by a woman, Sandy Weintraub (a name I recognize from early Scorsese films, and I'm pretty sure she was his girlfriend in the early 70s, I've seen pictures of her and Scorsese together in the 70s).
The premise of the movie: Michael Pare is a male prostitute (who seems to service only beautiful women, oddly enough! lol) and he decides to ditch it so he can be a writer (I guess there's not alot of time to write when you're a male prostitute!) Anyways his clientele bands together to prevent him from abandoning them, hence the title: The Women's Club.
So in THIS scene, writer-director Sandy Weintraub has her hunky star Michael Pare nuzzle and caress actress Dotty Coloroso's toes and soles before crawling up the covers and giving her an upperbody tickle.
