What a series, what a game! Wow! This series was a true classic. Extra inggings and all!!
Man, seeing that winning home run by none other than Aaron Boon... seeing the way that ball flew, you can't help but wonder if The Babe decided to return for an encore.
After this series, the World Series will seem almost anitclimactic. The Yanks VS Sox, a huge rivalry, a curse, SEVEN games, extra innings, AND a home run to win it!!! What a classic!!!! You can't ask for more from these teams. They played their hearts out.

As you said, OBM...the Series will be anti-climactic. There was a huge buzz about a Cubs/Sox series, with all that history and such, that it would have been a killer Series in the ratings alone. No matter who even won.

Last night at my truck stop, I had several Yankee-fan drivers even sighing a bit about the Yankees in it again. Even a lot of New Yorkers were pulling for the Cubs and Sox.
