I especially liked the manga one. I think I've seen it before. After being nicely marinated by the "cream hands" the little guys licked her all over and the tickling was so intense she eventually laughed herself unconscious (or died from it). Though I don't enjoy seeing tickling where the lee ends up dead, the manga was certainly very adorably drawn.

Hmmm... my interpretation had always been somewhat different. I figured the girl was already dead and that her spirit was being tortured for her sins. I thought the flying halo in the final panel represented the lost hope of any salvation, as she'd come to relish her punishment. The blank expression seemed more like spent reverie than death. This might just be rationalization on my part: I'd prefer to see the character as exhausted (and thus ready for an eternity of more tickliing) rather than extinguished.

I think the halo just represents that she's "in heaven" because of all the tickling, but not actually dead. But thats me being optomistic maybe 🙂 .

The speech bubble at the last panel has the “死“ in it, which means dead or death. That is why I have no doubts that she perished from the intensity of the tickling （poor girl).
