Tonight, as some of you may have heard, I was finally going to meet up with my g/f again and tell her about my fetishes. I did. Camel, my g/f and I haven't gotten to the whole tickling each other while having sex thing just yet, and if we never do, i'll still be fine with it, but i'm glad you and your significant other are at that stage. I think it's totally awesome. As for me, I've never felt the need or desire to have some kind of talk about tickling. I've just done it to girlfriends, paying attention to their reaction. Some have little response, some have a lot, some do it back, some say they hate it.

But for me, I've never seen the upside of some sort of confession speech. Seems to me it could only scare someone off and might be misinterpreted as a really twisted perversion. Plus, if there's a break-up down-the-road, do I really want some girl telling that story to everyone we know, particularly if she wants to make me look bad?

And for that matter, even if she responds positively to the conversation, who's to say she's not calling her girlfriends 3 seconds later to tell them how strange the whole thing was.

I prefer to let it evolve naturally, creating in her the feeling that we're exploring this new thing together that we've found. After all, I don't have a "talk" about any other thing I like to do with her physically, why would this be different?

The only upside I'd see in saying it would be jumping straight into full-scale sessions with no need for a transition period... but for me, the potential downside of an explicit conversation is much worse.
