Things that make an interesting first impression!

So today I met a very handsome older man. I'd say early 60's. He was buying a painting from me. I was introduced to him through a mutual friend. As I offered my hand to shake, he held it firmly, leaned forward and raised my hand to his lips and kissed it. OH MY! I went weak in the knees! Something about a gentleman who gently kisses you hand. *Swoon*

I just love that kind of stuff!
Anybody have thoughts on first impression behavior?

Yeah,

Nothing is better to me than to know that the girl likes me the first time our eyes meet. I love the ego boast. And to have her get that "Wow" smile on her face when we first catch each others attention is the best thing on earth to me.

More... I'm sure I have more, but I'll have to think about them!

The way a girl's eyes seem to shine when you first see them , followed by a slowly rising smile that finally completes and makes you feel like you're in another world...........*sigh* this brings back past memories.

For me, it is to look deep into a guy's eyes, seeing that warm look, I melt and my face turns a little pink and I get a little giggly. Just seeing them makes you feel all warm inside and you smile.

Here's how NOT to do it...

I'll tell one on myself, from my mis-spent youth. We were in a college beer joint, had been there for hours, were all pretty much in the bag. It was my turn to buy the pitcher, so I walked up to the bar. A friend of mine was sitting there with a woman. He said to me, "Hey, Strel, this is Mary." I opened my mouth to answer, belched with great authority and practically blew her off the bar stool. She fanned away the fumes and said to my friend, "Gee, Bob - you sure have classy friends!"

The touch!

The touch is much different in a friendly way than in a loving way. And feeling that touch that says "I want to love you!" is something that leaves my craving more until the next time I feel it again!

I'm like most of you, I like a "connection" on a first meeting, not just a "Hi, I'm a distant and disinterested person." LOL

How else NOT to make a first impression other than Strel's thoughts?? LOL I'm sure Red has some ideas there. 😛
