What things did you used to absolutely love (or hate), and then one day you suddenly flipped your opinions of them right around?
Olives, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and blue cheese are four biggies, food-wise. All four of these things used to make me wretch at the very sight of them, but for some reason, now I can (and often do) sit down and eat triple or quadruple the recommended servings in one sitting.
Microsoft is a big one. The usual reasons - evil corporation, Bill Gates deserves to be horsewhipped for being so rich, etc. But again, I realised "well Microsoft made my PC, I love my PC, and Bill Gates is largely responsible for home computers as they are today. If these things disappeared, I'd be unhappy." So filthy-rich or not (like 99% of famous actors and sports players who don't get half the blame for being rich), Bill Gates, thank you. Even if Windows has its share of technical problems, on the whole, it works, and it keeps me online. Here's to you.
On the other side of the fence, The Simpsons. I loved it when I was a bit younger, but after season 10 or 11, it just started getting silly, and sort of reminds me of one of those celebrities who's had their fifteen minutes, but still leaps around on the telly yelling "look at me! I still got it!"
