I dont ever remember saying (or thinking for that matter) that my avatar is "all that", whatever "that" is.

i chose it for specific reasons, some against better judgement

i have many really cool avatars i wanted to use, but they are beyond the size limitations

Nah, I'm just messing around. I don't think my avy is all that great. You gotta admit it's cute, though. ^_^ And like said so many times before, chicks dig the black mage.😉 To be quite honest, almost all the compliments I have gotten so far (however little that may be) are compliments on how awsome my avy was.

My avatar is a combination of two gay pride symbols, the rainbow flag and the pink triangle.

The Rainbow Flag as we know it today was developed by San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker in 1978. At the time, there was a need for a gay symbol which could be used year after year for the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade. Baker took inspiration from many sources, from the hippies movement to the black civil rights movement, and came up with a flag with these colors.....

Red for life,
Orange for healing,
Yellow for the sun,
Green for nature,
Blue for art,
Violet for spirit

The pink triangle, with the point down, was created in the Nazi death camps during WW2. Hitler had his soldiers place a symbol on each prisoner's uniform that showed why they were in the camps. Gay men had a pink trinangle. Over 100,000 men were killed in the camps for being gay.

Cell--thank you for the information! Wow...I didn't know what the different colors meant before, only that some had been removed due to the store producing them for Pride not having every color needed...so it got knocked down to six. Very informative, my fellow tribesman...

My avatar is my dog, Marley...and he IS all that...and a wagging tail...and a wet nose...and the best buddy ever...so really, he is all that. Before, it was She Ra from the cartoon...because I am the Princess of Power...and other stories that give me ties to said cartoon...

I have lotsa fabulous ideas for avatars and sigs...but nothing that is the right size...oh well!!! I LOVE my dog...and my avatar...

That's your dog, Camel? He's very cute. :happy: I don't have a dog, sadly. To be honest, the most exciting pet I've ever had was a goldfish. Not that there's anything wrong with goldfish.

I also tend to have the same problem with avatars. I've got a whole load of pics on my desktop that I'd want as my avy, but most of them exceed the limit for avatars on here. I don't have a problem with sizing sigs, though. Actually, I didn't even know there was a sig limit.

I think my avatar is pretty neat. I drew it myself, so its pretty origina in terms of what I did with it. I didn't draw him because of this SN however, since the SN preceded this avatar and I didn't draw this with the intent to use it as an avatar.

I may draw different facial expressions and switch them in my avatar to match my current mood or make an animated one that shows them all. I think it would be cute, since a chibi Dracula is already cute, I think. This is of course all assuming I don't have another name change, which I may. Not very many avatar and theme choices with a name like this.
