However, a lot of my "vanilla", "square" friends love drive-in theaters. Texas used to have 400+ of them. Now we have 13.
So next Saturday, some of us are getting together for a Drive-In event. THIS IS NOT ANY KIND OF OFFICIAL TICKLING EVENT AT ALL, NO WAY NO HOW.

The big get-together at the Galaxy Drive In Theater in Ennis will happen Saturday, June 6.
No, I don't know what is playing yet. I won't know until Monday or Tuesday. It may be the "Spice World" re-release for all I know. But they do have 4 screens so there should be a decent variety of stuff.
The theater opens at 6:30 PM & the double features start at 8:30 PM. They also have miniture golf!
Adults are $6. They take cash OR credit cards. Crazy! As usual, no outside food, drinks, glass, etc.
For some locals, it's a chance to remember the Astro, the Gemini, the Texas Stadium and even the Apollo or Kiest Theaters. For others, this will be a new experience.
For all of us, it will be an opprotunity to sweat.
If people like this, we will do it again, so don't be saddened if you can't make this one.
