Why is it people judge others including yourself when they know absolutly nothing about you in the first place? it's really annoying! I get judged all the time i'm used to it, but sometimes depending on what they say it really hurts and stays in your mind for so long it drives you nuts. They call you gay or something when you know in your right mind that you're straight. if you like feet or tickling they call you a creepy or a weirdo...it's not like your trying to hurt them? ive noticed it happening to me with girls..i dont mention i like tickling right off the bat, i take my time but they assume im something im not..i don't feel like explaining it there is no need to....it's like they verbal abuse the hell out of you when you or anyone else deserves it...always happens to the nicest of people including myself. Also hurts me to see it happening to other people, bc i know what it feels like it's happend to me so much in my life. I'd like to stand up for myself, but im not raised like that I don't beleive in violence in any shape way or form. what's happend to people these days judging others too early it's not right, it's not fair, and it hurts.

Hate to break it to you, but it's always gonna be like that.
Just have to brush it off, grow some thicker skin, and move on. Most people aren't worth letting get to you like that.

I'm bad about it. I do it with music, people, food, places, etc. I'm learning to get a better hang of it though.

There are very, very, very few people who never judge anybody. I know exactly ONE person who doesn't, and she is a psychologist - so it's kinda her job! Judging others is just human I guess. That's why the first impression is so strong most of the time.

When it comes to sexuality - not a whole lot of people CAN judge me about that, because my sexuality is really not a lot of people's business! I never had a problem with it!

And sorry you have to deal with the judging. I can honestly say that I don't judge much....you'd miss out on some really great people and experiences if you did! I think that most of us do judge to some extent or another (human nature really), but it amazes me with how open others can be, esp. when they say things that they know will cause hurt. Try to let those words go in one ear and out the other.....life is way too short. *hugs*

It's nature. Like many, we're a pattern-seeking species. Show a trait that separates you from the group, and you're the wounded stray among the flock, and a predator will pick you off sooner or later -- in this case, via ridicule. View it as a test you have to pass, and insults as obstacles to overcome, lest they always dog you. Given the other possible outcomes of straying from the flock (which can be witnessed in any nature program), I'm rather happy with a little ridicule. And when you can turn what makes you different into a benefit or a skill (and I'm talking about any difference), that's even better.

World ain't perfect. Just gotta do with it what ya' can. Thicken that skin.

You could always judge them right back! It works both ways, after all. Honestly, you just have to learn to give people the finger and tell them that they are irrelevant, as are we all.
