Foot tickling

Both the ankles and the toes are securely restrained to ensure that the feet are completely immoblized. One of the forms of torture is the tickling of the bare feet, always with the victim fully restrained, using fingernails, feathers or the back-ends of small furry animals or a hammer. One might think this form of torture is preferable to, for instance, beating, or fire, but this is not the case; the emasculation and humiliation endured during a long session of foot tickle torture is enough to make even the manliest of manly men weep like a little girl, and some like a crybaby.

It is rumoured that feet tickling torture was used by the ancient Chinese as the preferred method of dealing with women and nobility of both sexes as it left no marks and did no serious damage to the victim. The victim would be restrained, often completely as to allow no movement at all. The feet would then be relentlessly and mercilessly tickled for prolonged periods, sometimes all day, using feathers, fingers or small pointed sticks. To intensify the punishment the restraint around the chest could be tightened to restrict breathing so as to cause distress because of the intense laughter. Although this form of torture would only be effective on those who were sufficiently ticklish on their feet but for those who were it was feared at least as much as whipping or other more painful tortures.

Recently, a law was passed by every country to use this on all unruly teenage girls, including female chavs and preppy bitches, with some tortured for more than a year. This caused the governments of all countries with this law in place to be overthrown by pink homicidal elephants. A further "footnote" is that of the recent adoption of a stern form of punishment for criminals found guilty of foot-fetish related crimes committed in England, and this involves placing the prisoner in front of a poster-sized photograph of Victoria Beckham's enormous bunions in the hope that this most horrific of visual images might permanently rehabilitate or possibly cure him of the fetish.

It looks more like something that could have been on wikipedia´s evil brother, Uncyclopedia😛

No doubtly it has been removed?

I know the Chinese thing is true. It was also used in ancient Greece, if I've read up correctly. The prisoner would be tied to a table with feet over the end. The table would be tipped so that the prisoner's feet would be dipped in salt water. Then, they would have goats lick the salt off. After they stopped, the process would repeat, until the feet were a bloody mess.

Please pardon the thread resurrection, but I recently ran across an article on Ebaum's World about curious Chinese factoids most people don't know, and one of them backed up the story about tickling in ancient China. It didn't mention strictly feet like the post at the top of this thread, but otherwise, it mentioned the same data (used on nobility since it wouldn't cause permanent harm).

My question is, has anybody ever seen any ancient artwork from China depicting said torture? Man, I'd really love to see this. the Chinese are often considered evil geniuses at torture, and I can only imagine what sorts of ingenious methods they might have employed.

However, one of the worst traits of the numerous Chinese dynasties over the centuries was to totally destroy any trace of previous dynasties, so I fear this sort of oddity may be lost to time.

A hammer? Not in my go-to list, but.. I wont question TT members who tickle people with hammers. Thank god I'm not ticklish.

Considering most Chinese tortures where things NO ONE would want to ENDURE I kinda doubt even punitive tickle torture was pleasant by their standards.

So wait.... Is this actually a law? Because I seriously can't tell if Wikipedia (or you) is fucking with us or not.

And I have a history of being legendarily gullible.

If one thinks that, they're wrong and should stop trying to smear us. Try psychopaths and serial killers.

My apologies Violet hun if it came across that I was suggesting that pain fetishists like to cause serious injury as that wasn't my intent.

What I should have included was that I was thinking that the back part of the hammer (aka the part one uses to pry nails out) would be used as a sort of pokey end / scratchy thingy (like using the pointy end of a quill on the sole of a foot).

Sorta of like using a wartenberg wheel (aka causing a sensation that alot of people would find pleasurable).

Take Wikipedia posts with a grain (or maybe an entire shaker) of salt 😉
