There's a story that's rumored about by deep space harvesters and county-world scrappers. A story about a small town on a back-water world. Where great legends were born. And epic adventure began.
The world has changed since the corporate wars and armored blood-shed of the Bot-Corps. A young geeky inventor has found a remote mountain mine to build her dream: an army of beautiful war-bots that could protect the innocent and allow a new civilization to form out of the ashes of yesterday. She and her brand-sparkly new prototype, affectionately named Thompson, are hard at work to develop a new generation of living machines. When they stumble upon a tiny vein of the rarest ore. A new metal that might help Alice design wonders.
Or that might signal a ruthless crew of alien miners to pay Alice and Thompson a visit, and land the two of them in quite the hysterical bit of trouble.
Can Alice hold out on her most precious secrets once these scruffy fiends find out that she is deathly ticklish? Can Thompson keep the mine open long enough to save her sexy creator?
