I'd like to make a motion that Amanda submits to her great guy of a husband and allow a tic tac toe session on one foot and a game of hangman on the other, with used letters written down of course. After said games a series of pics be posted.

That's so funny that you said that! First, I've often wondered if there are any photos anywhere of my "initiation". If it happened today with cell phones there'd be 100 photos of it all over the place, but in 1986 it was just film. I know some people on the retreat had cameras, I just don't know if they took any photos.

As for today--what you suggest is something Jeff and I have talked about for years, and have even chatted with people here about. He thinks he wants to see what happened to me that night--I've told him the story so many times it's like he knows it better than me, but he's never been able to decide if he wanted to actually witness me being tickled. Truthfully, we have never thought about re-creating the tic-tac-toe game part of it--I wonder if we could try that with friends and it not be seen as too weird?

That's a tough one. I don't think I could deal with it too well unless it was another female or two. I would love to hear a report (with photos of course) of how well a few games went that you and Jeff played. Of course it would be better coming from you, the source!

LOL Amanda I would like nothing better to hear every single detail but I understand you have a life and time is precious. I would love to hear/read you describe your feelings, the anticipation as your shoes and socks were removed and the instant the torture began. Love to read exactly what part of your foot tickled the worst and how hard you were laughing. Now I know it's a lot and if you'd rather not I truly would understand. Tell you what, you're a good sport. I may have to pick your brain via message one day, get a perspective from you and get a little insight as to how my wife thinks. That's if it's OK with Jeff of course!

HAHA, well too bad, you're going to get all the details leading up to it. Even after 28 years, this is very therapeutic for me and Jeff. This had a major impact on our lives that we feel every day, and back then it caused us no small amount of trouble in our relationship. It was many years before we could really talk about it, and then even more before we started looking for resolution. In some ways we are still looking.

Of course it's ok for you to message me. I share everything with Jeff--I'm in this forum because of him, to try to share and understand what he likes (and I'm also a big girl who can have her own life.) Remember that in strictest terms I'm not a big fan of tickling. To this day I still dread it when I know it's coming, I try to bargain my way out of it sometimes, and it can get to be overwhelming. But I am a big fan of my husband, and while I don't know exactly how we got to this point, I know it's important to him and for me not to try to accept and cooperate would be selfish. Any tickling activity I ever have will be for his enjoyment more than anything else.
