available for testing as tk clips trade/share service.


All tickling files m/f f/f m/m f/m are allowed,
No size file limit no space limit!

Upload and download access!

A lot of file already there, give your contribs!

slow...

let me first say your efforts are truly appreciated!!!! You are a generous soul.

Unfortunately, the server is so so so SLOW. i'm getting a speed of 1.5K/s . A 5 meg file takes an hour and a half.

Once again... your efforts are appreciated but I don't know if this server is going to work out unfortunately!

The server is working fine even with getright ftp browser - It's not light speed but it's really great!

reason

the reason i'm telling tica about the speed is because my ftp client ( I've tried several) are timing out because of the speed problems. so i have to start downloads fresh and I know that will cause even more prolbems for the server. I'll be curious to see how others are doing... maybe there is a trick.

Well Ticklevids, I got no timeout problems...all downloads started within 10 seconds...BUT the speed is really slow...And it uses to stop downloading sometimes....it'd be impossible to download without getright or other download manager...

Most FTP clients feature a "resume" option, and if the server supports it, like this one does, you should be able to continue downloading the file after a disconnect from where you left off. Check your "options" or "preferences", which will most likely be located under one of the menus ("File", "Edit", etc.) and make sure that either "prompt when duplicate file is found" (or something to that effect) or "auto-resume when duplicate file is found" is selected or checked, and you shouldn't have a problem. If you select the first option, "prompt", when you reconnect after getting disconnected from the server, you should get a series of options like "overwrite", "resume", "cancel", etc. Just click "resume" and you should continue downloading the file from the point at which it was cut off.
