Well... for the first time ever I had probs while rejoining an Hached archive.
Let's recap: Asf are streaming vids. You said you converted it to Wmv. How?
Did you use Windows Movie Maker?
Second: zips are compressed archives. When rejoined by hacha it should really be videorec001.asf NOT videorec001.zip.
To be sure, I fiddled with the files a bit.
First of all, did the same as Aznagoel: renamed all the splits to taybeg.0, .1, .2 and .3.
Hacha could rejoin them as videorec001.zip.
Older winzip couldn't open it. Winace neither. Winrar timidly protested it cointained some "videorec001.asf" but it was truncated or corrupted. It should be 12 megs long. Not just 7.
I downloaded the latest Winzip version, Winzip 9.0, to be sure... Couldn't open it either.
Even checked with a Hex editor, and it could look like a PK compressed file. I'll try PKZipFix to open it...
Oh well...
