Well, today a tradition continued that has been going on since 1996, I received a letter containing tickling information from yet another pen pal. I've been pen paling through letter since 1996, and in that time have asked virtually all of them tickle and foot questions. What I usually do is to start on with a few "normal" letters just discussing general life things, and then to describe previous instances where I was tickled by family members, and asking if that has ever happened to them. On occassion I will have people get offended, and not write back. For the most part, Iam able to get answers from them. Sometimes they will just send me short general answers about being ticklish, and other times they will describe long experiences of being tickled by multiple people. I once had a pen pal who was a sophmore in college, who described about being gang tickled by her entire bus on the way to some college function or sporting event. I dont remember if I mentioned that before finding the TMF, I had an older male pen pal, who is now deceased, who got me into asking girls about tickling in letters. Unfortunately, he passed away last July at age 50 before I found the TMF. That is too bad, because he so would have loved to have heard my experiences in the TMF, and probably would have been a member too. Since he died and I found the
TMF, I dont ask as many girls if they are ticklish in letters, or have as many pals. Although at times in the last six months, I have been lucky enough to get a new pal who will answer. I do enjoy my pen pals for other reasons besides talking tickling, as I usually spend about 2 or 3 letters of our relationship discussing tickling and or their feet, and then just discuss other life things. I was romantically interested in one of my pen pals for 3 years, from 96 to 99, and met my first pen pal last summer at a Braves - Phillies game.
So far, asking my pen pals tickling questions has worked out well, as today was probably about my 60th answer since 1996. It has been a rerwarding thing for me in two ways, to establish long term relationships with people through letters, and also to get tickling info. While some pen pals have come and gone, I have other very loyal ones who I've known since virtually the beginning. I just wanted to share my pen pal tickling experiences. Anyone with any comments, please feel free to post.
