yes it's open country and yes it's not as packed as LA, but you don't have to say that like that's a bad thing. But I'm sure there are places in LA County that are open too, but I don't know when LA County ends.

The quote is interpretable. I don't know that I'd want to be told, in a city larger than some capitol cities of the world, that my city is "cow country", followed by text-based bovine emulations.

As there are not only folks of the West Coast Gatherings there, but of LA's own gatherings, too, I'm of the view that it CAN'T be a negative statement, but, rather, a goofy one.

Otherwise, there's insult given to several who attend events all over California.

So no worries.
